Euro Elite Hockey School & Get-Better is introducing an elite male & female development summer hockey camp in Steindorf am Ossiacher See (Austria) for all Elite players U18 & U14 who want to train at elite level with elite coaches.

The European Elite Camp 2020 will held in beautiful Steindorf am Ossiach See, Ossiacher See is a lake in the Austrian state of Carinthia. It is the state's third largest lake, superseded only by Lake Wörth and Lake Millstatt. Steindorf is close to Germany, Slovenia, Croatia and Italy. Venice is only 3h drive from Steindorf.

Players will be provided an opportunity to work with Coaches from Austria, Canada and USA with proven coaching experience at the Professional, University and Elite Youth level in Europe, Canada and USA. Without a doubt, this all inclusive and high intensity development is yet to be offered in Austria and promises to deliver unparalleled, pivotal development focusing on the following areas:

Camp 1

U18 & U14 Defense Skill Camp

Developing Defensemen and Defensive Skill for all players.

This camp is designed to improve players Defensive Skills at elite level. Players who are looking for a way to take their game to the next level.  With the help of our qualified instructors/coaches with proven experience at pro level, we will work on on following:

This camp is designed to improve players shooting and scoring technique at elite level. Players who are looking for a way to take their game to the next level.  With the help of our qualified instructors/coaches with proven experience at pro level, we will analyze and improve your shot. Advanced Shooter Techniques from Pro Hockey are utilized, including: Open blade, Heel, Heel- to-Toe and Mid-blade release, Changing Angle.

Off Ice Training will focus on:

• Speed

• Agility

• Mobility

• Coordination

• Strength

• Off-Ice Shooting Booth (small group can work on shooting techniques)

Breakdown and analyze every type of shot:

• Wrist shot

• Snap shot

• Slap shot

• Backhand shot

​

Players will become proficient in:

• Technique: hand placement, body position and puck position

• Shooting of the toe

• Underhandling the puck before the shot ,short back-swing (Quick release)

• Accuracy: head up and see your target, picking corners, follow thru

• Changing the angle

• The fake shot

• Close in shots

​

We also work on scoring techniques and when to use what shot:

• Shooting in stride ( using weight transfer stride to generate power)

• Looking off the target (no look shot)

• Shooting thru traffic (how to great shooting lanes)

• Reading the goalie and where to shoot

5 Day Camp

This camp is designed to improve players Overall Individual Skills at elite level. Players who are looking for a way to take their game to the next level.  With the help of our qualified instructors/coaches with proven experience at pro level, we will work on on following:

On Ice Training is not limited to but will include:

• Puck -Control

• Power-skating

• Shooting/Scoring

• Passing

• Controlled Scrimmage (Small Area Games)

• 2-3 Games vs Team from Austria

• Goalie Training (4max)
